The Proxy from is the straightest flying putter that Axiom Discs produces. Disc Golf Pro Simon Lizotte proves the utility of this disc as his go-to throwing putter and approach disc from all distances. The Proxy shares the Envy mould’s core, lending the same low-profile feel and solid grip, along with a short wing width and wide flight plate diameter for superior glide. This discs sets itself apart from the Envy with a remarkably straight forward-fading finish. Players can achieve excellent hyzer flip ups, panning anhyzers, as well as dead-straight shots with little-moderate power required. This disc is perfect as a first approach disc when you need something reliable to get near your target.
Meet Vitreledonella richardi, AKA Richard the glass octopus! Mike Inscho illustrates this triple-foil design on the Proton Soft Proxy, a low-profile straight-to-understable putter versatile enough for a broad range of manipulation and shot shapes. Proton Soft is a plastic type that the Proxy is not run in often, and the swirly rims on these discs have to be seen to be believed. Exclusive to the OTB Open 2026 releases, Proxy lovers are going to eat these up!
Proton is a beautiful blend in the MVP line which offers the most durability of all the MVP plastics. Like all MVP discs, Proton has two seperate plastics; a transparent flight plate in vivid colors, and a black solid outer rim. The Soft version of Proton adds extra flexibility to the flight plate while maintaining the stiffness and durability of the rim. Making for a comfy hand feel, and discs that will stop on a dime.
