the K1 Soft Berg from Kastaplast. The Mountain. Known by some as ‘the floatiest brick of all time’. The Berg is known for its distinct lack of glide. This disc has become hugely popular across the globe for approach shots. With its high-speed stability and lack of glide, the Berg is perfect for running the basket without worrying about the disc gliding way past the basket. The disc features an ergonomic thumb track which is prominent on the top side while not being noticeable at the bottom. This makes it feel very different from any other putter.

K1 Soft is similar to K1, but more flexy and grippy. Just as with K1, Kastaplast plastic will come in both translucent and solid colours.

The K1 Berg is perfect for: Windy days, fearless putts and distinct approach shots.

Kastaplast is an independent disc manufacturer based in Stockholm, with the aim to create discs and gear of highest quality. Kastaplast is dedicated to the disc golf culture, the people, the lifestyle and all the fun times all around the disc golf world. They look at disc golf as a grassroot movement with its own unique identity; characterized by spontaneity, individuality and freedom. Starting off in 2011 as a small prototyping workshop, driven by the fun factor of experimenting, the business soon grew out of the basement of Jonas Lindberg as he was joined by Anders Källström and Per Jonson. Still, the “workshop style” of developing discs has stayed, with a mix of computer flight simulation, research and extensive prototyping. Kastaplast is determined to keep the ecological footprint as low as possible. One step in this direction is the use of solar energy that today powers a major part of their production.
