The K1 Järn (Iron) from Kastaplast is an overstable approach disc. It is the perfect tool for withstanding the winds and fading predictably. The disc has a low profile which makes it easy for touchy flex shots as well as flat-out hyzers. The Järn is easy to grip, feels geat in the hand and has an excellent, smooth release.

K1 Glow from Kastaplast is one of the market’s best luminescent discs, both when it comes to shining brightly and shining for a long time. In general, the K1 Glow plastic itself tends to affect the flight characteristics of the disc, so it becomes somewhat more overstable than the usual K1 plastic.

Kastaplast is an independent disc manufacturer based in Stockholm, with the aim to create discs and gear of highest quality. Kastaplast is dedicated to the disc golf culture, the people, the lifestyle and all the fun times all around the disc golf world. They look at disc golf as a grassroot movement with its own unique identity; characterized by spontaneity, individuality and freedom. Starting off in 2011 as a small prototyping workshop, driven by the fun factor of experimenting, the business soon grew out of the basement of Jonas Lindberg as he was joined by Anders Källström and Per Jonson. Still, the “workshop style” of developing discs has stayed, with a mix of computer flight simulation, research and extensive prototyping. Kastaplast is determined to keep the ecological footprint as low as possible. One step in this direction is the use of solar energy that today powers a major part of their production.
